Maitland Relay for Life is a Fun filled community event. With Free entertainment, great food and a fun, friendly atmosphere.
Relay For Life Maitland 2014 Kicks off on Saturday the 6th of September 2014!
So come along pitch a tent and stay the night if you like, or just come for a little while and join in the fun atmosphere, as we Celebrate Remember and Fight Back!
Relay for life features a HOPE Ceremony and a Fight Back event.
Relay for life also showcases local talent from bands, solo artists to Dance groups. We have Fresh Food and Drinks, Games, challenges and Prizes for all ages!
The HOPE ceremony remembers those who we have lost to cancer and celebrates their lives. The track is lined with candlelight bags with messages from loved ones. We take a few laps with the lights out to remeber those lost through cancer.
The Fight Back ceremony is an uplifting event to FIGHT BACK against cancer, this involves everyone making a pledge to do something to Fight Back and help Defeat cancer, this may be doing more exercise, changing your diet, etc....
